Hello! I’m Ricky from 8NEST. It’s gotten cooler lately, and I can finally sleep without the AC on! It’s already been a year since we opened the Kawaramachi Imadegawa House last September. Thinking back to that time when we were busy preparing everything, like moving in furniture and appliances, makes me realize how quickly a year passes. The first residents who moved into this house have mostly moved out now that their study abroad programs ended, but I still keep in touch with them occasionally. I have many memories with the few who moved in right after opening—eating meals together in the living room, going out at night. The initial members got along really well, and that atmosphere continues today. Seeing everyone still eating together and socializing makes me feel like all that hard preparation time was worth it.😀 Oh, and I wish everyone would clean up a bit more…😅
