The facilities were very convenient and I felt that order was maintained even when the house was full. There was plenty of personal storage space in the common areas, and each refrigerator had its own dedicated space, so I could always retrieve my things in peace. My roommates were very friendly and warm, and we would get together from time to time. Since many of us were staying for short periods of time, there was a frequent turnover of people, but each time we had a farewell party and shared stories and experiences with each other. You can walk to three World Heritage Sites, Kinkakuji Temple, Ryoanji Temple, and Ninnaji Temple, as well as Hirano Shrine, Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, and other famous sightseeing spots in Kyoto!
It is a 7-minute walk from Kyoto Ritsumeikan University. There is a bus stop within a 5-minute walk, convenience stores, and many restaurants for students. It is a 15-minute walk from Bukkyo University and a 20-minute bus ride to ISI Language School Kyoto and Doshisha University.
The house has 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets, and is a women-only house with a very particular interior design. The house is furnished with everything you need, including tableware, so you don’t need to bring any major supplies to live in Kyoto. The management staff includes women, so you can feel free to ask for advice, and we are sure that you will be able to live alone for the first time with peace of mind.
